Try googling for 'stock image' and 'stock photo'. Some of it is free but check the licence agreement carefully. If its your homepage you should be ok but if its a commercial site expect to pay.
Also try googling for 'textures', these are often small image files you use to tile a background.
I'd suggest oyu install MacAffee Site Advisor so you can check the site is legit and not a cover for getting trojans on to your pc.

I used that website http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com .. the one referenced by that detective guy. I found exactly what I was looking for. So much for Mr Right, or rather Mr Convicted Felon with 2 Liens against him totaling over 30,000$ and an ex-wife I never knew about!! Thank God I found out the truth before it was too late. We were almost engaged!!
