OK we all know that the likes of the Godfather and Casablanca and films like that are considered the BEST OF ALL TIME by the film industry and critics and internet movie masters but as far as the most satisfying film experience I've personally had, a movie that I loved instantly (you know the way you gotta watch Fight Club and Memento 2 or 3 times to "get it"), well it was....

The Truman Show,

that is Jim Carrey's defining performance, it's a masterpeice that really came outta nowhere, I can't fault it, and it even earns extra browny points because it came out in 1998 well before the reality tv revolution so the story and concept were social predictions made by the film makers that today don't seem all that far fetched.

Endlessly entertaining, emotionally gripping and more relevant to the population of couch potatoes and reality junkies now than it ever was.

LONG LIVE TRUMAN!!!

for me there are 2 its hard to choose. Gone with the wind was great and the Ten commandments, both were great movies, also these movies we released at the same time, Gone with the wind did not get much notice at the time, it was The ten commandments that took the awards. After all was said and done, years later, it is Gone with the wind that is more popular, funny huh?

That movie has a ton of great lines. I can watch that movie all day long. The other three suck, but the first one is a true classic.
