Anything that shows he was thinking about me. And each time it could be something different. He knows my favorite perfume and one time when I was low he bought me a new one. (no special occasion). Another time was when we had moved into our first apartment. The cabinets were kind of high for me. (5ft. 3in) So before we were even finished unpacking, he bought me a cute little stool to stand on.
Every woman is different. For me roses and chocolate are over rated and way over done. Anything that is set apart from other gifts can be romantic.
If you know she likes candles and hers are burned low, go get more for her.

Is when my husband calls and tells me to meet him somewhere and its a surprize all the way around like one day he told me to meet him at this resturent and I did and there was a dozen roses at my table a card and he sung to me then he took me to a motel and we had tickets to see Alan Jackson god I love him and we drank wine and had mad passionate sex all night and soaked in the hot tub and swam the next morning we went to a state park and walked and talked and had a picnic and he surprized me with this beutiful necklace with our birthstones and names on it we had a great time I also like to get cards or letters from him or just a phone call telling me how much he loves me is gift enough for me We are best of friends so anything or everything we do together is a gift for me! It all depends on when and how it is given. I would take a new package of pillowcases and feel very romantic about it if he were creative enough to imply why he gave me them :)

For me, a romantic gift would be fine lingerie wrapped in a bouquet of beautiful flowers...

my husband went to work one day, and when i got up every time i opened something in my house there was a card (mushy i love you card) , the refrigerator, in the cabinets, in the medicine cabinet, in the silverware drawer, ect.. every where he knew id eventually go sometime during the day their were cards, i was on cloud 9 all day long..

Anything that is done as a surprise. I dont have one particular, but something on a whim is great.
