I find sighing whenever they speak, openly slate whatever item of clothing they are wearing (in a general way, not their specific item), and then withering looks whenever they look at you are all fun ways of being mean. But the best thing by far is to become their friend and confidant, get them to open up to you, then pass these snippets on for everyone else at work/school/prison to mull over.
I'm not sorry, I was born mean.

The worst thing you could do is ignore the person - actually act like he/she doesn't even exist. Preface your actions by telling the person that to you the person is like a tree in the middle of a field - there, but so what?

Totally ignoring them is one of the worst things you can do to anyone, people hate been ignored and it bugs the hell out of them for not knowing the reasons why they are been ignored.

I have a habit of girls that I don't like who date my best friend of putting fear and doubt in their head. I give them a nice history of what he was, and they generally run screaming. If I like them, I don't tell all the details.
