Turn the computer off. Hard 2 belive but ppl CAN get addicted being on the computer all the time. Its very sad :( What you need to do is time yourself for a certain amounts of computer time, Example: you can only stay on for 30 min's. n each day lower the time by like 3 mins or so. n just do that everyday. until you have no minutes left. n by this time you wont have the urge to even get on. Lifes to short, go out n live! it doesnt need to be important. get off the computer and go get an ice cream or somthing, just as long as your getting out! My brother (he's 20) he was MAJORLY addicted to the computer n because of that, he has never had a date all through high school (no not even 1) he never even had a girlfriend, he just moved out of his parents house this year. He doesnt know how a truck works, he has no friends, he got fired from his job. Its because he never had the social interaction. he sat on the computer all day being lazy. Just go out n have fun, your bigger than a computer, you can have the urge to get up, after all its only a computer, n im sure you dont need one controling you for the rest of your life :)

As the others say, take regular breaks. U can use cucumber, rose water to provide a cooling effect. There are eye drops like Lubrex which would help u moisturise your eyes, thus preventing the irritation caused out of dryness. (Do this only after consulting a doctor). The best way would be to ensure that you dont stare at the monitor continuously and hence keep blinking which washes out your eyes.

I spend most of my time on computers..they don't ever ache or tired..

But try wearing some reading glasses or something, go down to your optitions* and ask for something that'll protect your eyes, but don't tell them you're on the computer all the time, lol.

Or maybe buy one of thoes screens that go over your monitor that helps your eyes from getting weiry and tired.

My mum took a computer training course, and apparently you're are supposed to take 5 minute break after every 30 minutes..

That's all I know.

When you feel your eyes getting tired, choose a comfortable place to sit down. Close your eyes and think about anything. While thinking, massage your eyes at both the corners, above your eyes and also beloew your eyes. For you right eye, massage counter-clockwise. For your left eye, massage clockwise. Do that until you feel you're fine, then take a look at the scenery and whisper to yourself what you see for 2 minutes. Then, get back to your computer! If it happens again, do the same thing.

At least once an hour, take a break. Focus on something far away so you can bring the world back in focus. Get up, walk around, stretch, drink some water, then go back to your computer.

Take a break, get up and stretch. Focus on something else for a while or take a cat nap.

Make sure you look away from the screen once an hour for at least five minutes. Works for me.
