Blood pressure should not vary that much form one arm to the next.Talk to your doctor about this. This is unusual to say the least.

This can be quiet normal in most cases the right arm can be a bit higher than left if the change is a lot consult your GP but be care full of these machines because you could be worrying too much over it and your BP will go up there is also a term called white coat syndrome that is excepted by the medical profession,
{worrying about your BP then getting doctor or nurse to do it and it is high} if the GP is concerned he/she will refer you to get 24 hour tape one,it a small machine that is attached to your arm and you carry out your normal daily routine ever 5/10 min it takes a reading even when your asleep then the hospital can see what the average is.. good luck

It is very normal to have different readings in different arms, best way to check is take once in one arm, sit relaxed for around 15 minutes and then take it again from the same arm, that would be your true reading, BP is normally taken from the right arm. If you are worried about it, keep a diary of daily readings for around four weeks twice a day. When you wake up in the morning and just before bed at night . Then present your readings to your GP or local Health centre nurse, they will be able to guide you.

Both are correct. If you see a large variation between arms, you should see a doctor about that. There is a cause and you need it checked out.

Take the advice of the professionals in here. It IS quite common, so whatever you do don't start getting unnecessarily stressed, thinking that only one side of your heart is working ... or one arm is going to wither and die.
My question to you would be "why are you checking your own blood pressure?".
Take care!
