Cerebrum of the brain is responsible for intelligence and reasoning. Although there are differences of opinion, it is generally thought that an average human being utilises hardly 4% to 5% of the cerebrum for efficient functioning. In persons with higher IQ, the percentage of utilisation of this part of brain is,obviously, higher. Dr. Albert Einstein was able to utilise, probably, 13to 15 percent of his brain power and was able to think at least 100 years ahead of others!

Einstein was a genius. it is not a matter of % of brain used. In fact he was also foolish and did not use his brains properly. kept on cheating on his women. Onthe other hand Gandhiji used his limited brains well. Brains are God given. but it is up to the person to use it or not or how much to use. No one dies of over working. But lot many get heart attacks because they dont move/ excercise their body. Nusrat Fateh ali was asked to walk 7 steps after his operation in London. he refused. and promptly died.
