so, we have this activity in school. the theme is the movie 13 going on 30. i have to go to school in an outfit that would make me look like im from the 80's 0r 70's.. i was thinking of this yellow mini and leggings,hoop earings, permed hair... only i dont know if its correct or what top to wear..!! help! i really need it..

yep, yellow mini with black leggings will do. You dont have to perm your hair but if you have a fringe/bangs, tease it with a hair spray. For the top- get a sleeveless top that is long but fits tightly around the hips then top it off with a really short cropped jacket. Flat shoes will do. It's probably nicer to wear a plastic yellow earrings to go with the skirt rather than hoops.
I personally love 70's fashion though.

If your going for an eighties look, wear a sweatshirt with the neck band cut off and stretch it out to the shoulders, and wear a tank top underneath. And a thick belt over the shirt. Or just look for some Madonna pictures on the image section, she helped define a lot of eighties style when she came out.

Tie-dyed clothes would go well, too. They made a come back in the '80's. And the hair should be as big and poofy as possible. And if you wear jeans, they should have holes in them.
And shoulder pads- the bigger, the better.

ok..slightly embarrassing....but in the 80's I wore alot of bangles, leggings pushed down, mini or jeans with leggins over top...i know..eww...lol..and big hair with hairspray. God...i hope we never go back to that again...lol
