You've received good advice on clearing the search index already, but are you aware that even if you clear this there's still a record of sites you've visited to anyone who knows what they're doing? There are several index.dat files on your computer that Micro$oft use when you report any errors that enable them to see the sites you've visited and the software on your computer. There are several programs on the market that nullify these files, making it impossible for people to view them. I, personally, use History Cleaner but I believe Webroot Window Washer does the same thing. Google for them, or similar products.

I've seen this question loads of times from different people. 'Sourkandi' is right but you may wish to delete your Searches as well. Follow the same procedure, Tools, but go to Browser Options - General - Clear Search. That should cover everything you don't want people to see!

on the tool bar on the open page--- click it-- then go to internet options an delete cookies temporary files an history an it will clear it all out!

go to tool bar internet options delete cookies and delete files.....but if u have done something u shouldnt and ur computer is checked all info can be retrieved anyway.....so hope u have been good for ur sake
