Teachers are not strict it is the students who make them strict.
Clayman only knw how to make a clay into doll and the same way teachers only know how to shape their students.
Future of an country depends upon the good teacher.

Because they don't want you to grow up to be a big lazy loser living off of the government having babies to pay the bills. Those babies just make their lives harder after 4/5 years of college that they worked hard for. They want to set an example for success and not for sloth. How would you feel if you went through all of the stress of middle school and high school then having to pay for college only to graduate and have a room full of donkeys that don't want to learn SQUAT???
Frustrating.. Teachers are strict so that you won't suck as a functional person in society.
Pay attention in class>:{

Because most parents have not bothered to respect their children and thus teach them to show others respect. Teachers NEED to get respect in order to be listened too, especially if there are some children/students who actually want to learn from them.
Most parents don't seem to discipline their children properly. They either let them run round the streets (I've seen this in 4 towns in 2 countries in last few years), or hit them for no reason. They shout at their kids without any manners, like 'Come here NOW!', but then criticise the child for not saying 'please' when they want something, as I witnessed in a shop recently. How can a young child be expected to learn manners, if not shown any by his/her parents?

I'm always strict in the beginning of the year if the classes proves that they are responsible and are willing and ready to learn, I become less strict.

Have YOU ever tried to control 20' odd kids, let alone teach them anything. And besides can you imagine the uproar from the parents, when their kids come home from school having learned nothing?. A lot pf parents think its the job of the school alone to teach their kids everything!

To help keep order in the classroom. To also teach students that there is a leader in all areas of life. To make for a possitive learning environment.

if you think this is strict you should have been at school when I was. kids today have it far too easy. too many powers have been taken away from schools and teachers and I think they should be brought back!
