I need to see a bit of movement on a woman. Something to bite kiss and squeeze on. Long live the curves.

I can't stand it! I saw this in Newport News once...one of the models was wearing a blue bikini swimsuit bottom, and you could see the part where they edited away some of her skin, because the seam in the bikini bottoms was missing. I had to laugh my head off, I'm surprised they never caught that and replaced it with something else.
Another thing...VS model Alessandra Ambrosio has small boobs, but they always have her wearing bigger bras that would fit a D cup...they give her those inserts. If they need to do that, then they should just find a model big enough to fit the item! Adriana Lima is another one like Alessandra, she's a little bigger but not that huge as they depict her.
There was another blonde one in VS that I saw recently. And she had on a bra, I don't know if it was push up, it had to be. But her boobs looked all blotchy and stretched....I didn't know photoshop was considered the new sexy :-) HAHA!

They would probably have better sales if they used women models that were the size of the underwear that they were trying to sell since I think it would be rather difficult for a large woman to decide how something is really going to fit her when seeing it on as you say a stick insect. A person could also look at it as false advertising since they show that the item fits a certain way but when a large woman puts it on it certainly isnt going to fit the same way.

it used to be worse, not all that long ago.
i have actually been amazed and impressed with some of the commercials i've seen, though i rarely watch TV...maybe that is why a few in particular stood out to me.
i am a lean, muscular, voluptous woman. i am not fat, nor am i petite and tiny. it is great to see commercials that show "full figured" women (i remember all too well when people looked back at The Marilyn Monroe and considered her to be chunky) who look great in their underwear.
it seems like people are starting to be more real...just have started. more realistic about what is average, what is not average. we can always change our social expectations by being kinder to ourselves (not to mention others), but we can't control the media. however....i see a trend beginning that include women who are not walking sticks. :-)
cheers for the Ladies out there!

I agree!!! If they want to sell the product they should show a slightly more voluptuous model before and after, showing off their product to maximum effect!!!!

i think its sad that these airbrushed women are modelling underwear...supposed to be for woman, but it looks much more like the pics are for men.
i think they are very airbrushed though... and i think pictures like thses have a huge effect on impressionable teenage girls in todays society.

It would be nice to see someone of size actually modeling the garments that they are trying to sell us.
