is it true people have won 250,000 on deal or no deal but they never show it because it would ruin the suspense?

Noel did insinuate on The Jonathon Ross Chat show that there had been Several £250,000 winners.
But they had not been show on TV, when asked why Noel said you will have to wait & see!

Personally I think its less watchable with nobody having won on TV.

However the show is filmed at a rate of 4 shows a day & is about 4 weeks ahead.

I stopped watching who wants to be a millionaire because I could read about the winner on tonights show in the papers that morning.

A real live show would be good. also I would like to see a celebrity edition of the show.

I dont know about this particular case, but here in Australia, if you are a contestant and 'win money' and the television network decides to not air the episode, you don't win a cent... You sign a waver before the taping to say you agree to these conditions. I guess it's incase a show gets axed and they have a heap of epidoses still not aired. Would be very upset person though

I am always cynical of shows of this nature.

I believe the Banker is aware of the location of the big money prizes, although we are told there is an official adjudicator ( he could have both roles, don't you think?)

The only way anyone could win the £250,000 prize was if they were left with the top prize and the £100,000. I suppose a gamble with a guarantee of £100,000 would be worth taking.

There is no way that £250,000 has been won.
In order to win this amount, the last two values would have to be £25,000 and £100,00, because people would bottle out if it is different and that is the usual case.

I heard that too! Not sure where that started. It may well be true. Channel 4 always fix stuff and muck stuff up!

Did you see it yesterday though, the guy dealt at 41,000 but had the 250,000 in his box the whole time. Bahaha.

Unlikely in my opinion

Like Millionaire, I'd have thought the more big winners the better, as it would increase publicity
