I say, Superman with the invisible woman.
Result, a super invisible child, that no one could detect. (well, unless through body heat., but then again, it's not like they would be able to catch him, cause he'd be gone in an instant.)

Definitely a fun way to encourage imagination. So, I'd say Spiderman and Wonder Woman. The "super-child" would be athletic capable of scaling buidings and super intuitive (spidey senses). And, the powers of an Amazon princess-warrior would increase the new generation's power "ten fold." Yes, re-directing bullets, super atheleticism and good looks, wow! Not to mention "size" sure, "WW" is definitely no shrinking violet when it comes to physical stature.

Lots of fun,

Here are my top 4 favorites (and they are form the actualy cartoons, they aren't made up) :
4. Muira & Charles Xavier (not sure if it was him tho) - Proteus
3. Jean Grey & Scott Summers - Rachel Summers (The Pheonix)
2. Sue Storm & Reed Richards - Franklin Richards
1. Rachel Summers & Franklin Richards - Hyperstorm
Some good fictional one would be Jean Grey & one of the following: Reed Richards/Thanos/Charles Xavier/Dr. Strange/Adam Warlock
That might result in perfection too.

Wow, for once an original question. Good job.
For raw power how about:
Jean Grey (top end mental powers)
with
The Juggernaut (top end Physical Powers)
Of course that is assuming magically imbued abilities can passed to offspring (Juggernaut's powers are actually magical in nature).
