There was a news article a couple months ago that shows about a new fad in the UK.
It's called "Powerpramming." It's where women kill two birds with one stone by exercising and using their babies for weight training. They're exercises that revolve around using your baby's weight to strenghten muscles and keep in shape.
It has been considered to be useful since mothers have to lift all sorts of things or have their hands full. Powerpramming keeps a mother in shape and allows her to be accustomed to carrying heavy items while juggling a baby.
If you're interested in experimenting with that and find that to be an acceptable alternative, it's a good way to devote time to your child while also getting in shape because the attention you place on your baby while exercising allows for bonding as well strengthening the bond between the mother and the child..
Any other attempts to slim down down without any form of exercise will usually be a challenge unless you resort to use of drugs, some form of physical movement that you wouldn't count as being exercise, or artificial physical augmentation such as liposuction.

First work on your diet then exercise. You can look into liposuction but most doctors won't talk to you until you have tried exercise. Its not easy.. Kids have a way of messing up your belly.. I'm still trying to get rid of mine.. and my baby is 14.. one of 3.
Pick 3 days a week to do 30 minutes of weight training and do some form of cardio everyday.. Skating with the kids, Bike riding. a fast walk around the block.. Park far away so you have to walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Every little bit can help.
Good luck

Uhm well unfortunately, exercise is pretty much the key...you could do sit-ups or crunches, or anything of the sort everyday, I'm not really sure if that REALLY works, but I hear it does...other than that....I'm clueless. :P
