Hi looking to get away from it all this year for Xmas and was wondering if anyone would recommend somewhere really nice. Don't mind spending some money on this trip. Kids are 2 and 4. We live in Glasgow so want about a 2 hour trip or so. Thanks.

Its got to be disney land paris!!! It would be so magical and the kids would absolutely love it- plus you can get really good deals and go across on the euro star, and stay in a lovely hotel!!!!
Travel agents will book or you could go directly through Disney

You could try Newtonmore, the Ballavil Hotel does a good break and has a small pool which is excellent for kids, also has the waltzing waters right next door, its a water show to music, cheesy but keeps the kids amused and its not far away from Aviemore if you want to go there.
Hope this helps.
