If it was possible would you like to see all foreign football players
sent back to their own countries football clubs. So that we could make room for some of the talent that we have here in the UK and give the youngsters the chance to show their worth?

We need some foreign players to help improve the standard of young British players. However, over the past ten years football managers have resorted to buying cheap foreign imports as homegrown players are often overpriced by their clubs. The amount of young players that have benefited by seeing the likes of Bergkamp, Henry and Zola in our leagues cannot be underestimated.
Pressure should be put on British clubs by their respective FA to safeguard the future of our young players by either limiting the number of 'average' foreign imports brought in by clubs, or offering incentives for clubs that produce homegrown players.
So in answer to your question: No not all foreign players should be sent home, but something does need to be done to encourage homegrown talent.

I think there should be a cap on the number of foreign players allowed in each team to allow home grown players to develop. Only problem is that its probably illegal under some law or another. If you look at the lower leagues its always more interesting when you get the kids coming through and playing for their home town. Thats when you get the passion money can't buy

Yup - that's be great. Nothing against the foreign players, but I do like to see local players do well in their local clubs.
But then I never worked out why my fruit and veg come from Peru or Tasmania or wherever, when we grow them here too.
Cricket clubs have a limit on foreign players and it works well.

No,because there are some top overseas players in this country along with our homegrown players which our league one of the strongest in the world eg Shevchenko (ukraine) and Terry (england) both world class and playing for chelsea.
Less talented overseas players are also essential to smaller clubs because of the extortionate transfer prices,if our young players are good enough they will make it.

No, I don't think so. I'm not against top foreign players plying their trade in English football. What I dislike is mediocre foreigners who come here and seem to have a reputation that far exceeds their ability.

i'm excited approximately a playoff gadget, yet i do no longer think all convention champions could get a shot. i think of the desirable communities era could be interior the playoffs. if your from a smaller convention and proved to earn your way in then great, yet that's no longer college basketball the place all convention champions get an computerized bid. additionally, i'm to no longer mad approximately all the vacationing for all the communities. i think of the better ranked group could get abode field benefit and then have a impartial website interest for the championship interest. yet for any group that did no longer make the playoff then by utilising all skill those communities could nonetheless have there bowl interest.

Hypothetical question indeed. As it is not legally possible to restrict EU players, there really is no point in speculating - however what I think we ought to wonder is why so few UK players go and play for foreign clubs.....

Yes, i think i would. When i were a lad, and it was 99% British players in the Top division, i believe footy was more interesting, it was less hyped.
Hang on, it was never on the TV, and back then we were fawning over foreign talent.
I'm arguing with myself again, where are my tablets!

I thought this question was about real football. Your thinking of soccer, dude. Great game though. Let's kick a ball back and forth on a field with our feet and see if someone can kick it into a net that's 90,000 times larger than the ball. If not, we can tie, so everybody wins! YAY!!!
