What essential items should i take with me to Badrinath?

Im going to Badrinath, a pilgrimage location in India in the middle of the Himalayas. I am going end of September, what essential items should i take with me??

A bag with some clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste, ropes, scissor, knife, dry food...and anything else you might need
