Tampa rode a hot goalie all through the playoffs and won the cup. Then they don't even give the guy an offer.
The team owner refers to Lecavalier as the "Michael Jordon of Hockey"....WOW!!!!
Hockey does not belong where it does not snow naturally.
Put teams back n Hartford, Winnipeg and Quebec and then the world of hockey will once again be balanced.

Oh yeah...and if it wasn't for Canadian's you wouldn't even have a team! Lecavalier, Richards, St. Louis...Right right right.
Canadian's are the "BAD" people.
Run away! Run away!

Because having Hockey in Tampa is a big joke

Added to your comment, The fact that Tampa won the cup and stole it from Calgary was more to do with the fact that it was a fluke or a freak of Nature. Trust me my friend it will not happen again. and by the way I bet you anything once Lecavalier becomes a free agent guess where he's going? That's right Montreal.

You shouldn't be so defensive. I think if you choose any team you will find that 1/30 of the hockey fans will like it and 29/30ths of the hockey fans and all the non-hockey fans will trash it. The newer the team, the less time the team has had for it to grow on people.

Canadians aren't much different. I'm Canadian and that means I HATE half of the Canadian teams as rivals of my Favorite teams. If Tampa is playing Toronto, Edmonton or Calgary you will find me cheering for Tampa.

Not to mention that you could buy tickets to game 7 day of. If that was anywhere in Canada, those tickets would have been sold out with in 5 minutes of being availible. The cup should go to teams that deserve it. Even though it was all Canadians that won the cup for that team. No offence to good US players either.

Regardless of the players, an NHL team in Miami or Tampa or Phoenix is like having a major league baseball team in Yellowknife or White Horse..
