A coprocessor is a computer processor used to supplement the functions of the primary processor (the CPU).
Basically a 2nd CPU to assist the promary CPU

it is an annex processor usually labeled as MathCoProcessor but i don't think it exists on our present computers which are installed on the motherboard. As I recall those co-processors are a big help the time of the 286-386-486 era of computers
