Green light is flashing all the time. I have tried unplugging it and reconnected it - doesn't make any difference. It doesn't print anything - printing info just says it is in que, I cancel the (alleged) que but that doesn't help either. On further attempts same thing happens.

Do I have to reinstall it? Oh bother!

Knowing what printer it is would help, but....

Switch the printer off by pulling the power from it. Whilst it is off, cancell all print jobs from your print queue. Then reboot your PC.

Re check the print queue one the PC has restarted and only if its empty switch your printer back on.

I suspect you've sent a large file to be printed. Graphics can use up all the printer's memory quite easily and take forever to print. Be patient and it should all come right in the end.

you dont say what make of printer it is but could there be a paper jam?
You do say you've unplugged it but try unplugging it from mains and tower, shut down your computer, plug everything back in then reboot your computer.
May not work but as i know very little about these things, its just something i'd try!

Good luck

Power off your printer then you PC. Power back up your PC then your printer. Make sure your PC can see the printer by checking in 'Start', 'Settings', 'Printers and faxes'. If your printer isn't listed then you'll need to reinstall it.

hold the printer power button down for 5 seconds... if no good, then goto control panel... printers and faxes... then right click on your printer picture.. and cancel documents.. also.. you could delete the printer.. put it back in the usb, and let the computer find it again.......

Could be out of paper or a paper jam. Or it could be set to take paper from the manual feed tray.

Reinstalling is better.
But first, try restarting your computer, especially for inkjets.
