Someone who had military experience and could lead the United States out of war or another inexperienced draft evader who knows nothing about being Commander in Chief, but has a bloodthirsty quest to prove something?

No. We need a peacemaker. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall inherit peace!!!" We need Condoleeza Rice or Colin Powell. Or maybe Jesse Jackson.

the inexperienced draft evader who knows nothing about being Commander in Chief who has a bloodthirsty quest to prove something. Isn't that what makes a good leader?

It sounds like you are not a Bush supporter. Too bad there were not more of you around when he was voted into office; at least enough to over balance my vote. I wasted mine on him and I am regretting it. Bush did avoid his duties as a member of the military and maybe he thinks his GRUDGE WAR is the way to make amends. He has got a lot of good people killed in doing so. He went into office intending to go to war. He surrounded himself with war makers. What would we be like today if he had picked a staff of people interested in education or health care or stabilizing the national debt? He has lost us a lot of world respect putting us into a dangerous situation. Many countries we could call upon as friends in the past will not be as ready to support us because of his arrogance and lack of leadership.

Is this a trick question? The way to avoid war is to get your morals right first, then your diplomacy. The US has no real interest in who rules Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan or Israel or Palestine. Time to get out and leave 'em to it.
