I wouldn't worry about it.

Also, i have noticed a few sites that advertise that in order to get you to "buy" their security suites. Hide your IP address ect ect..

See! basically if a website shows that it has been shut down then it means that it has been taken off server, they have stopped hosting it on the web space! i dont have too much and indepth knowledge about website shutting down but i can surely answer the other question!

An I.P.address is like your home address! it s full form is internet protocol. every individual who has a broadband connection possess their own ip address but the one who have dial up connection use the ip address of their internet service provider or isp. now for them the ip address keeps on changing everytime they are own! if it says that ur ip address had been logged that means u have the access or somedbody else has accessed ur ip.

It could mean that they are seeing new ip adresses so that they know people are still veiwing the site.

please giva an example of website like that.

usually when your ip is recorded that means that if you are trying to do something illegal with that site they will find you easily.
this is a common method for preventing fraud and you do not have to worry
