...and may I tell you that when you get your pre-anaesthetic drugs, you feel so great that you will allow them to do anything to you.
Take you apart as well.

Yes. Several times. The time in question, is when they chopped apart my wrist, and I decided to go it without pain-killers. Bad idea. About the time the anesthetic wore off, is the same time the Pharmacy closed. I had a very bad day/night.

The last time I had surgery was on my thumb. No amount of pain in the thumb can make me take a painkiller, so (although I filled the prescription for Codeine 5, from past experience) I never needed one. Does anyone need 30 Codeine 5 pills?

I had a bad fall back in Jan. '04 and had reconstructive surgery on my left foot and resuscitation of the right, both heels were crushed. it took me months to walk I had to start all over, crawl, stagger three steps, the hole nine yards six inches. Today I have a limp and still tier easily. But I'm not dead so I'll just take that and keep on keepin' on!

Not surgery as such, but I had 14 stitches inside and 14 out when they sewed me back up after having my son...

I'd say it was probably as painful as surgery, and took as long to heal!!!

Yes - I have had a tubligation, hysterectomy and a broken ankle. The hysterectomy and broken ankle were the absolute worst and painful. I think I would rather have a baby.
