My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Will lovemaking feel different? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

I have been with both--and don't see any difference. Actually I prefer cirumcised men (well actually I prefer other girls)--because it seems cleaner to me--but not a big deal.

So I guess if that is what he wants to do I wouldn't be worried about it. Unless it is a religious conversion or something--I might be concerned about his motivation--it seems a little peculiar for an adult to want to do this.

definetly a good move to have it done now before he gets any older. My mother works in a nursing home and it is horrendous the pain that uncircumcised men suffer from infections and what not. It's too bad that circumcision on infants in not practiced as much anymore because the pain that uncircumcised men go through in their senior years is terrible and to be circumcised at a later age is memorable whereas when your a newborn you won't remember it for life and you won't miss what you never had. JMO on circumcision and my personal experiences *puts on flame retardant suit* I know this is a touchy subject for some people but I truly believe that the pain men go through in their elder years could have been prevented at birth. as far as sex is concerned, you really won't feel a difference, but he may since there are many nerves and blood vessels on the head of the penis he may or may not get more pleasure out of sex (since this study has not been proven I won't say he will but he may)

my first husband wasn't circumcised, my 2nd one is. i never noticed any difference in sexual performance. about the only reason that i could give for a man to have this done is if he is experiencing discomfort such as rashes or itching or infections. or finds it difficult to keep clean. i can't see why he would want to have this done unless he has one of these problems because i have heard that it is very uncomfortabe and painful.

Well ive experieced both, my husband was circumcised from the age of 6 and to be honest i prefer it. I personally think foreskin is just excess baggage which is dead skin and is useless, without is so much hygeinic and sexually is MUCH better!! Its cleaner and performs better trust me you will notice the difference!

There is no difference in lovemaking....it's all about male hygiene. Men can be uncircumcised and be completely normal but they just have to be more careful with their hygiene.

It wont really feel any different. Just the foreskin ( the top extra sking of his penis will be removed. It wil be easier for him to keep clean, and neither of you will have to worry about pulling the skin back to have sex or urinate.

It will taste a lot nicer when giving oral when the foreskin is gone. Sorry that is so blunt but it's true.
