That's not morbid, that's simply planning ahead, and saving those you love from wondering what your choice would be.

If you are married, or hope to be married someday, i would advise buying two plots next to each other, so that you or your spouse would have the comfort of knowing you'd rest side by side once you're gone.

I think it's very forward thinking of you!

It's not morbid at all. If you like the cemetery, buy now. It will save time and frustration if you let your loved ones know now where you want to be buried.

It's not morbid. Buy now. The prices on cemetery plots rarely go down in price; in fact, they tend to rise dramatically as the years go by. And since nobody knows when they're going to go, it's best to buy the plot yourself now, rather than making your family go through the trouble if you should die unexpectedly.

You are smart to plan ahead. Buy the plot now because in the future it could be gone. Actually it is a smart idea to prepay for your funeral because the cost of funerals always go up but if you have yours paid for they can't charge you more. Planning ahead is not morbid just smart.

If you feel good about it, go ahead, but remember - you might find yourself living in another place at old age, and the selection of cemetery , once you're gone, is important for your remaining relatives and not for you, they might find it awkward to travel long distances to visit your grave.

I don't think you're morbid at all.

I'd buy it now- why wait for someone else to buy it before you do? And who's to say the price won't go up, etc.

True it might be morbid but it's always good to be prepared. Plus once you take care of what happens when you die you can spend more time on life.
