I could never understand why women do that. Perhaps there is a health issue (alopecia) that the woman lost some of her eyebrows or she is going through chemo. Then there are those who overtweeze when they are young and then they have no recourse but to shave and draw or tattoo. The worst part of that is some women cannot match their eyebrow to their hair color. Pencils are too harsh, and powder works best. You don't know how many women I have had to rematch and that they don't realize how off they were in their color choice.

It's a matter of personal preference, like all things. And you don't use mascara but an eyebrow pencil. A friend of mine does this, and it looks stunning on her.

And as a side note to some of those who have already replied, it's not something that just crossdressers/trannies/drag queens do. Take the time to actually learn about something before you reply, makes you look like less of an idiot.

Well, it is a beautiful custom in Chinese cultre. Woman shave them and put nice colors such as nice dark brown or black, but I don't recall having done this with mascara. I

In the early 1900's, Japanese woman shaved their eyebrows and put "new" and "fake" eyebrows hight above the original place. It was considered fashionable at that time.

I don't do it and i think it looks very ugly too but they don't use mascara, but an eyebrow pencil. Mascara is the stuff for eyelashes and only makes sense if there is any hair to "paint" on

it really is infrequently a trait restricted to Mexican females, as some Oriental females and far of goth/alt-style human beings do it too. i do not get it both, yet even as the problem got here up in verbal substitute once, what someone stated develop into, "they might want to easily fairly hate their previous eyebrows... in the experience that they'd any firstly." in words of females of particular ethnicities do it, i will in basic terms hypothesize. Mexican and Oriental females oftentimes have very similar eyebrows - sparse, masking a large section, and black. The sparseness over a large section makes it confusing to pluck the brows, as they could be left with little or no besides. looking a black eyebrow pencil to examine their brows might want to be confusing, as matching synthetic black hues (eg dye) to hair has a tendency to look fairly pretend. They probable do not favor that constrast highlighted, and so in basic terms get rid of their pencil's competition, thinking it the in basic terms thanks to get the brows they prefer. it really is my theory. i for my section imagine it feels like a freak educate technique. do not do it, females! take excitement on your organic brows!

Ugh, it's so nasty looking when people do that! I used to work with a woman who drew them on with eyeliner in big arches, like a half circle. It's so hard to look at them without staring at their eyebrows! I mean.. after a while, you really need to just put the tweezers down!

I don't know why other women do it, i don't. I prefer to keep my eyebrows in a nice shape by plucking them and then i leave them alone. I pluck my eyebrows once a week to keep them looking neat and tidy. x
