Not right now, Jake Plummer is a good QB and he's been playing for a while now he knows defences like his back pocket. Jay Cutler should be starter when Jake either retires or gets traded. For now the Broncos should work hard on Jay get him to throw good deep balls and have a picture perfect accuracy. Eventhough Plummer had his ups and downs, Denver should keep him as the starter, besides Cutler will most likely start a couple of games like the last game of the regular season.

No. Jake Plummer has won 32 games since joining Denver. He started out slowly last season, and the Broncos won 13 games. Mike Shanahan will keep Jake on a short leash and as long as the Broncos can run the ball, Jake won't have to win the game by himself. In Arizona, Jake was always playing catch-up. Thus, a ton of interceptions. The only way Cutler will see the field this season is if Plummer is injured or the Broncos start out losing 6 games in the first 8. Carson Palmer set out his first year just getting comfortable with NFL life and seeing how things worked on the sidelines. Typically rookie Qb's don't have success in their first season except maybe Dan Marino. The constant physical beating and losing can cause a QB to "get used to losing". For young QB's that can prove to be disastrous, as the may not overcome the losing ways to be successful.

Not at this point. He is not ready to be a starter and besides Plummer will rebound, just like he did last year after a tough start. Remember Denver is 34-12 with Plummer as their starter. That is pretty damn good. Cutlers time will come. The only way I see him playing this year is if the season slides downhill. If they are say 2-6 at the midway point then you might see Cutler getting some playing time. Otherwise Shannahan will stick with Plummer.

It's way too early to put Jay Cutler in. People saw what Roethlisburger has done in Pittsburg and want their rookie QB's in right away, but it's just not a good idea. Denver is a run first team and should be focusing on that. Add in the fact that they're facing a soft KC defense this week , Plummer should have a much better day, and get some confidence back.

i think of Cutler is achieved in Denver. Which ever group the Broncos commerce him to they extra useful make advantageous they get a QB of a few sort. The Browns could make a competent place for them to look, commerce Cutler for Quinn. The 49ers, they could commerce Cutler for the 10th %. interior the draft and get Sanchez or maybe Stafford if he remains there. i do no longer see Cutler going to Tampa Bay. The Bucs have not got something the Broncos %, possibly their 1st around %. in 2010, because of the fact the Bucs would be interior the right 10 next year.

No not yet. They should concentrate on getting there bread and butter of the last few years the running game going. Cutler would do no better at this point of his carear. If the Broncos season is going anywhere latter in the season then I would definitely start him. I doubt that will happen though.

if jake plummer struggles for another 2 games, then they should seriously consider starting Cutler. Cutler has a powerful arm and i think he can definitely do fine as a starter as long as he stays calm.

Not yet. Almost no one looked good in Week 1. You have to give Plummer at least another start to see why he was so bad.
