In my opinion when ever the Lord blesses you with your child is when its meant to be. I had my son at 19 and I believe that theres nothing wrong with that, although 35 and older is kind of up there in age that is the age most woman have high risk pregnancies due to their age.

I waited until I was 34. I didn't get married until I was 30 though. My husband and I wanted some time together before starting a family. Since my husband and I come from large families, we never thought we'd have any problems conceiving. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We conceived after 3 months, but then I had a miscarriage. After that it took another 9 months to conceive again. Fortunately we have a healthy, happy baby girl.
I only regret not starting sooner because I didn't know it would take so long to conceive. Other than that, I'm glad I had my daughter older because I am more mature, educated, patient, responsible and financially secure. I've done so much already that I can give all my attention to my daughter and not feel like I'm missing out on anything else.

I was 35 when I had my son. Now I am 37 and thinking of having a second. Although my pregnancy was planned it had more to do with circumstances than age. I was in my mid-twenties when I went to college, I didn't meet my husband until I was in grad school (29). We waited a couple of years to get married and decided we wanted to experience marriage before having a child. Before you knew it I was 35. There are slightly increased risks for some complications but it is still small risks. I am glad I waited I am able to stay home with him and focus on him. If I had been younger my financial situation would not have been as stable and I wouldn't have had the patience and maturity that I do know. The only regret I have about being older is that my choices are limited. My younger friends can decide if they want to wait 5 years between children or they can choose to have large families. I don't have those luxuries. But I wouldn't change my current experience for the world.

No. I had the first one at 23, but then I had the second at 37 and the third at 38. Naturally conceived, easy pregnancies, no health problems whatsoever, easy and fast deliveries. Sadly I lost one a few months ago at age 42 and am ttc one last time as I feel more than capable of doing it again, physically and mentally.
Hugs to you if you are just starting out. I personally didn't feel it was any different to the pgcy I had at 23.

I was blessed to start a family when I was 35, that's 7 years after my wedding day. I almost gave up but then i realized God planned something for me for all those waiting years.

Start a family when you can take care of them. there are very few some who do start a family when they are 35. But biological probelms may arise, for being so late. God will help.
