lmao, that question is too cute - however this is a shameful 2 point endeavour...all i can suggest is a metal box / cage / something to that effect.

Probably they were fed a lot of worms and ants before coming in and promised more free ones after the water receeded. Nothing, even people, can refuse a promise on something they greatly love. Thats why the woodpeckers behaved well once inside the ark or Noah would have drowned.

Genesis 7:2-3
Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
There were 7 woodpeckers! I loved this from another question...
"2 each of the unclean animals and 7 each of the clean animals. There were not that many varieties of animals in Noahs time. They were just getting a start. All animals today are a mixture of the original parents. "
They're not all locked up... Yet.

well, you will know that if you will read bible but noah did not take care woodpeckers. yes, there are birds in his ark but it has no woodpeckers..... even though you will research and research you will know that noah did not take care woodpeckers so that there were no place for it but if a woodpecker in that time, maybe he will put it on a bird cage which is a steel because if he will put it on a wood cage,im sure its cage will be destroyed.
thats all t.y.

In the ark like every other bird. Did you think that God, who led all the animals into the ark in pairs, would not control the animals? God, who is allpowerful would certainly have controlled them and the termites too. anyway, termites do so to get food, and woodpeckers peck wood to get at grubs. Remember that God had told Noah to set aside all the right amounts of food, eliminating their need to do so.

The story about Noah exists to all the mythologies of the world. This is the jews story. In greek mythology there is Defkalion(very good man) and his wife Pyrra that made a boat when gods told them about what it was going to happen.Gods also gave them instructions how to make it quickly and they told them to save as more animals as they could.Isn't it strange?Exactly the same story! And it is not only greek mythology that talks about that event.Every civilisation talks about a guy who saved himself and a lot of animals by a boat. So, I believe that the story is not fake.Maybe things haven't happened by that way exactly but there is a true event which is the base of all that!

Well, Noah did take a representative of every animal on the planet. He probably just left them inside his ark, free to fly around it as they please. And they won't peck at the wood of the ship since maybe God was telling them not to. In fact, God probably even told every animal there to behave themselves or else all that will be left of Noah and his family (after lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, vultures...well, you get the idea) is a pile of bones.

They were around with the rest of the animals. They did no damage. As we all know, under the special circumstances of the arc, lions were side by side with lambs and didn't eat them, so why would the woodpeckers ruin their house?

In the central, metal lined area where he also kept the termites, woodworm, etc. I'm sure some born again bozo will be able to quote you a passage from the Bumper Book of God fairy Tales (aka The Bible) to explain the paradox!

What I keep wondering about: How did the animals from all the other continents (like Australia: kangaroos, koalas, South America: lamas) reach the ark???

No he did not he had a variety of birds and as life evolved many other animals were created from needs to mate . just like the dog and cat were once a weired looking dog cat looking animal and in time through mating siblings they began to creat to separate species and the cat went of in its direction and the dog when of into his and the first real dog was the dingo . and look at how many we have now same with cats I cant remember the name of it but it was the ugliest looking cat I have ever seen it is in the encyclopedia LMK
