your wife is probably still not over the fact that she's married. She's used to being depended of herself and now that you're in the picture, it probably confuses her. She's probably in her shell. I would give it time. Be patient with her. Don't antoginize her over this, it will just make matters worse. Just be patient she will eventually come out of her shell...just remind everyday her that you love her. Hope that helps you out.

If you are so certain that she has no psychological problem, can you find out from her why she's avoiding you? You mentioned that its a love marriage, so why her behaviour? There definitely is a reason for her actions. You have to be frank with her and find out the truth. Otherwise you will not be able to consumate your marriage.
By the way, you must be patient and gentle with her if she fears sex because of some misguided beliefs!

Maybe she was in so much pain the first time you have sex, she was somehow traumatized by it. If you haven't done it, maybe she thougth it would be very hurtful and get scared because of it. Perhaps she doesn't know much about sex and it scares her. Be patient and talk to her, ask her what's the problem. If she's still shy and doesn't want to talk about it with you, ask someone close to her (a woman) to talk to her, ask her what's her problem and explain her about sex (if that's the problem) and that marriage couples share bed together. Meanwhile, try to be romantic and makes her feel comfortable with you (not in a sexual way). Good luck.

Is she afraid of getting pregnant?
Maybe keeping separate beds is a problem because she's not feeling close and secure next to you? It's maybe creating a distance that even she doesnt understand. Start with getting one big bed and have a nice long sweet talk with her. Good luck.

Be patient with her, she may have been raped or molested as a child. Take her to a psychologist and see if they could help her get to the root of the problem.

Buy her a book on marriage. Get a good one from the bookstore. There should be a chapter on good sex.

Chuck out one of the beds and get yourself one king sized bed.

Just ask her why she's doing it. She may have a good reason.
