I always try to make somebody's day. Whether it is someone I know or a complete stranger. Putting a smile on their faces make me feel good as well.

last year while delivering pizzas to a trailerpark outside of town i delivered to this young kid, bout 10 or 11, and was really impressed with him
he was very curtious and mature for his age and through him talking and past experience i knew that he and his mother are on a fixed income, she is severly handicapped and he basically has the run of teh house, but instead of beuing a madman with freedom he takes care of his mother when relatives or caregivers are away and keeps the home in order.
so i got a present for him for christmas, making the assumption that he may not have much of a holiday, it was mid december and there was no tree up. and my mom bought a nice blanket for his mother, i wrapped these up and me and a friend of mine dropped the packages off on christmas eve.

I have many times. Most of the times, it's unexpected and I wasn't particularly planning on but by just helping them with something or doing something for them has made their day. Other times (very seldom) I intentionally made someone's day.

yeah i love making people happy it makes me happy, but it also screws me up because i cant make everyone happy
