Any good lawyers want to offer me some free advice? Figure you'll get some advertising here since billions of people read my questions. 102 in a 75 at night on a bike. No other traffic. Clear conditions. State of AZ. I said and admitted nothing, just yielded my license and insurance papers. He wrote me the ticket and left.

Rob, you offer good advice. But I need something to pull me out better. You see I left out a few other details. The day before I got nailed for 88mph in a 55mph. When it rains it pours. This was in a different town however, but the same state. I gotta figure out how to minimize my losses and keep my license. In either case I've exceeded the 25mph over the limit for taking defensive driving. And a_blue_grey_mist, I believe you are right. I was actually coming down off about 175mph, relaxing at 102mph. It felt slow then, like 55mph. This was probably the reason I got stopped, just cruisin' along at a nice 102mph.

Oh, please spare me the, "you naughty bboy should not be riding your bike fast stuff" As stated before, there was no traffic, noone in danger, and I am an experienced motorcycle pilot very capable of handling my bike up at the bicentennial mark. I am looking for good advice, not a word lashing.

Meet with the judge before your court date in his/her office. Dont make excuses ask for a safety class. Thank the officer for making you realize what could of happened if you would of wrecked. Really believe its for your own good. Most of the time you will take a 1 day class 75.00 and the tickets are discarded.

I'm not an attorney.
I've covered a lot of court cases and picked up a lot of police news items in 13 years of journalism.
I honestly would say your best bet is to save the drama and go straight to minimizing inconvenience to the court.
Plead no contest. Apologize to the court for taking up its time and ask that they take into consideration the lack of traffic and the clear conditions when determining your fate. Be polite, professional, and very, very brief. Judges like this. It's your best chance.
Histrionics and the potential for bad acting could really backfire on you here. Don't risk it.

Whoever the choose believes will win. you should ask for a jury trial in case you pick, then you ought to persuade 6 or 8 or 12 human beings.

tell them your speedo only said 70, theyll make you go to dmv to get a inspect before you can drive it again but probly let you off on sppeding

oh and to fool dmv take the cap where speedo cable screws into the bracket on the front axel and loosen it up and pull the cable out till it is just barley touching, theyll problly tell you to just tighten it up by hand their or else make you go "repair" it, either way its quick, simple, and could account for your actions mabey even do it befor court, bring it to a shop and get a notice saying you had that "problem" but got it fixed

either way good luck, im goin in tommaro my self for operating under suspention......fun fun ya know?

Grow up and pay the fine. You broke the law and now you pay. There isn't any getting out of this one. They might have you on video. So just buck up and learn your lesson!

That's messed up . . .if no one else is around and it's clear conditions you should really be able to hit at least 150.

I'm sure the police have more important things to worry about - they shouldn't be bothering a peaceful biker who just wants to ride fast.

Good luck.
