there is now substancial evidence that him and his family were accepting gifts and money since 2004. They are saying USC should forfeit their national title and Bush's heisman trophy is going to be taken away. he's a great football player but he knew the NCAA rules and should not have broken them. he also was playing with fire when he associated with all those agents when the NCAA strictly prohibits that. im not a USC fan but i would not be very pleased with what he had done. shame on reggie bush.

GREED, GREED, GREED! Too many want something for nothing, and too many think they actually deserve it! The Heisman committee owes Vince Young an apology. Bush's family knew exactly what they were doing. Imagine, even wearing a gifted suit to the Heisman Awards! No wonder his mother looked like a model instead of a mom! I think that you also forgot that the Longhorns of Texas have the National title. We already stripped them of that! Hook'Em Horns!

P.S. The Heisman will go unawarded if taken away, more than likely. Since VInce is the #2 vote-getter, it should rightly be his. However, I don't think anyone looked up O.J.'s #2 when he was stripped of his Heisman.

P.P.S. Charges have been dropped against the Texas players and they didn't play last weekend. In fact, one of them has never set foot on the Texas field as of this writing to begin with, Wrecker.

If the allegations are true this could be a defining moment in college sports. You have the potential of a forfeited National Championship plus a Heisman trophy. The NCAA will in all probability try to avoid vacating the Championship, but if they want to send a loud and clear message that cheating will not be tolerated it will have to be done. The reason they will not want to vacate the championship is simple who would get the title Oklahoma (who played USC in the BCS and lost) or Auburn (who ended the year at #2). I mean what could happen the BCS could award it to Oklahoma and the AP could award it to Auburn, and the NCAA really doesn't want that. Plus lets face it who wants an Asterisk by your National Championship which will happen no matter what happens.

The Heisman in all likely hood is gone no matter what. So who will get it then, Leitner (who has already got one but played with Busch) or Vince Young. I suspect this will be easier on the Downtown Athletic club, give it to Young, he's deserving and not tainted like Leitner.

This is a mess, but if done correctly could send a BIG message to Colleges and their fans that cheating will not be tolerated and that the win at all cost mentality isn't worth it.

Whilst I understand that Reggie Bush should not of broken the rules I am sick and tired of administrators and coaches pretending that they are not aware that this is going on. USC should be punished also. This sort of thing is rife in college football undoubtedly. I wonder just how many coaches etc are turning a blind eye to such things?.

Sounds like Reggie Bush is kin to George Bush (very poor decisions).

I think that if it was Ohio State, then this would be a gigantic story!!!!!!!
Why is it that the NCAA, ESPN, etc., hates my Buckeyes so badly?
I think it is jealousy. Last year everyone was talking about how Ohio State should be on probation. Their players did nothing back then as bad as Tejas' d.b., who is playing despite still being charged with a gun possession ( Mysteriously they dropped the drug possession charges ). NCAA favoritism DOESN'T include Ohio State! That's alright with me, cause we're being singled out to hold the rest of yous criminals to a higher standard!!!!!!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite frankly, I do not care because he is now on my NFL team and hopefully (fingers crossed) decades of embarrassing football can change.

I'm a a Saints fan, cut me some slack.

USC will get in trouble, reggie will get heisman taken away, he''ll get interviewed, haters will salivate, and then the game will go on.
