I hae been having a burning pain sensation in my lower abdomen for the past 3 days. It starts down there and it goes all the way up. Its a kind of pain as though it was coming from my cervix. Yesterday I went to my OBgyn and he did an ultrasound and found everything was normal. Do u have any idea what could it be? Thanks

If you went to a "OBgyn," as you say, it would have been senseless to not do a pregnancy test. A general practitioner can do a female physical -- do that. If that doesn't answer any of your questions, you may just need to have a good ole fart. Get on your hands and knees, put your shoulders to the floor, *** in the air, and let all come out and blow in the dang wind.

If you aren't pregnant then why are you posting under pregnancy?

BM = bowel movement

Is it in your vagina and that is why you saw an OB/GYN or in your ABDOMEN which you would see a regular doctor for? Is your urine (pee) ok? Does it burn when you pee? Do you have to go more often?

Are your bowel movements regular?

Are you drinking enough water?

What did your OBGYN suggest it was?

Your cervix doesnt' have nerve endings so it doesn't ''feel'. Did the OB do any swabs for infections?

Try a reg MD if you still aren't sure.

You know, despite what you say about it starting in your cervix, I have to wonder if it isn't just heartburn. It's always best to eliminate the simple possibilities first.

to me it sounds like you got a urinary infection, i had that about 6 weeks ago and my doctor did a urine test but said everything was normal, 2 days later the pain had gone round to my back and i had to go to the hospital when i was told i had a kidney infection, so my doctor missed the infection and it ended up getting worse, go back to him and ask him to test ur urine

This problem can be due to acidity , as you are experiencing it in the urine as well. I would prefer u get you get your urine routine checked from a lab and get beck to your doc.

you might want to go and get a second opinion from another Dr and let them know that you are burning and need to get checked out they should let you know fromthere that doesn't sound normal.Good luck.

It sounds like a bladder or kidney infection.
