yes dealers can and will as long as u have the tittle and a dl that matches the car...as for the cost it all depends on what car u have and if u have one key left for it....most of the hondas dependin on what year u have they have what they call an imoblizer system that means that u will have to have your car at the dealer for them to program the key to the car so that it will start it....other wise it will crank it but will not start it and u will have a lil green light on the dash flashing the entire time u are trying to start it

Theoretically, they might, yet they are going to pick so plenty greater advantageous than in hassle-free terms a VIN. With in hassle-free terms a VIN, they are going to ought to touch the dealership to get the particular key, and maximum dealerships won't make keys with merely the VIN via glaring risk-free practices motives. The VIN isn't something greater advantageous than merely an identity selection.

think about it, it is easy to get a copy of the title and a VIN number. do you think the dealership will risk such a liability on anybody? a new key can be cut from the VIN number. a reputable dealership will require that you have rapport with a service adviser and a history of maintenance records with them. the cost depends on the type of key (immobilizer) and the parts department can make it minutes.

Most likely Honda CAN do it, if you have the vin #. We recently checked out getting a spare key made for my Ridgeline and its gonna cost 139 dollars and an hour of our time.

Yes, keys can be made from VINs. I would say that would cost about $75.

They could. But if you already have a key and just need a copy of it, you'd probably be cheaper just to go to your local hardware shop and have them make the copy for you.

You need to have proof of Purchase, drivers license and registration of car in your name to have the keys made.
