Or do you just expose it in all it's scratching-easily glory? Do you use covers?
I'm asking this because when I first got my Nano, I treated its surface really gently, and tried my hardest not to scratch it...but now, I'm thinking: Hey, it's JUST a mp3 player. The important thing is the music, not the looks!
So I just want to ask Nano owners if they protect thier Nanos or not.

Oh, and one more thing: I have a hard plastic cover myself, but the reason why I want to REMOVE it IS because I think it makes my nano look bulky and stuff.

I have a sturdy plastic cover that you could step on and not damage the nano with.

I paid 300 bucks for it. You bet your O ring I'm going to keep it fancy.

I treated mine carefully but still it wanted to scratch up. I found after a couple weeks that it was getting hard to read the screen except straight on so I bought a cover then so it wouldn't get any worse.

I didn't and my nano looks like crap. Seriously. When my husband got his, we got tubes and his still looks beautiful. I suggest protecting yours.

I don't use any covers, but I try to take care of it. Functionality over vanity.
