In my opinion, the best facial product on the market is Apricot Scrub by St. Ives (medicated.) It is a terrific gentle scrub, and the medicated version will really help with the oil and leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. I recommend the medicated kind even if you don't get acne. It's not too expensive either, you could even use it on rough elbows or feet. Good luck!

for oily face, you can choose cleansing products with oil control. i have use up one product thats quite good for oily skin, is from Excel (Element). I have used this products for nearly one year, and now my face is not as oily as before, and my acne also become less. However, the most important is you should wash your face frequently ( 3 times per day). Besides, oily face also should wash with 2 different brands cleansing foam. After washing your face at night, you can do a hydrating mask. Within a month, you can see the difference.

St. Ives medicated leaves your skin feeling clean. It's cheap and it has scrubbers in it. I also rotate use with Aveeno acne cleansing pads (make sure it's the acne one because there are 2 kinds). They have a cleansing side and then a scrubbers side. The clinique 3 step system is great as well, but on the pricy end. Also, using a daily oil free moisturizer helps cut down on the oil. My derm told me to stay away from all oil of olay products if you have oily skin. Again, I'd use Aveeno or clinique gel for that.

Go down to your local chemist and purchase a decent face wash. You shouldn't pay more than £4 to £5 for a face wash for use on a daily basis.
There are a number of excellent face washes available - try Nivea for Men as a stater as they do specific ones for oily skin.
Also consider use of a facial scrub (use 2-3 times per week) which again you can purchase specific brands for men.
Good luck

My dermatologist recommends Dove soap. The scruffers/loofah soaps etc can make your face more irritated, actually. Dove soap is gentle. Also, they sell this stuff called "Queen Helene mint julip masque." You put it on your face every so often and it dries up the oil. Use it after washing your face. The stuff is less than $5 at a drug store. You can either let it stay overnight or else wash it off after 15 minutes. Remember, using too many things to dry out your face will cause the opposite effect and cause more oil production.

A gentle face scrub for oily skin. St Ives will not leave your skin dry, but will help control the oil. Tee-tree oil soap or scrub will work great also...

this sounds funny but try it for a week.
get some Elmer's glue. The kind you had as a kid in grade school... Take it and put it on your face at night before you go to bed. NOT on your hair. Just on your skin. Let it dry. Go to sleep. And when you wake up in the morning peal it off...... It works wonders.
