I have Big Ben (somewhat injured) and my current backup is Kerry Collins. I have Leinart too but I'm waiting 'til Warner gets injured. Here's the offer given to me:

He gives B. Leftwich (QB) and S. Gado (RB) for my K. Collins and B. Jacobs (RB)

I need to keep Jacobs (handcuff) but I have J. Norwood (Atl), M. Drew (Jac) and D. Williams (Car), all potentials. Who should I try to give up to complete this trade? I'm hurting on QB.

Just to let everyone know, I also have Tiki Barber, T. Holt, A. Boldin, and R. Smith. My draft was crazy because no one was drafting the way they were "suppose to" (i.e. taking ALL the good QB in the 3-4 round). Besides Barber, I ended up with only backup RBs.

Definitely take the trade- Lord Byron is a nice upgrade over Kerry Collins, and Gado will probably get goal-line carries (at least) in Houston. I'd move Drew or Norwood- even if Taylor goes down, I doubt Drew will get more than 10-12 carries a game, Del Rio will split the duties. Warrick Dunn is NOT injury prone and looks like he's off to a great season, so Norwood will just be a great talent stuck behind a productive starter and not seeing the ball...

wow buddy, how did you end up with such a terrible team? kerry collins is quite possibly the worst starting qb in the league, on the other hand byron leftwich is one of the best. your best running back is brandon jacobs and that is not pretty, but loosing him is worth it because leftwich is the man. samkon gado would in turn become your best running back and thats still not pretty. you really do need to check the waiver wire because after you get leftwich you need better running backs than what you have. gado is alright but norwood, drew, and williams, are not gonna get you anywhere.

i like the trade. leftwich is a better qb than collins. collins may not even be started soon.

as for jacobs vs gado. i like jacobs too, drafted him in my league thinking the same thing, but at this point, given how careful tiki is, i think you have a better shot at gado being a starter than you do with jacobs. i would take the trade.

Two words. Free Agency. If that's the best you have hit the free agent market. I think the trade looks good except the Packers just got rid of Gado. However Leftwich willmake up for your QB hole, but don't count collins out just yet. I say do it.

I'd do that deal, Norwood looks tough and they said they are going to get him some more carries. Not too mention Collins is horrible and will be benched for Young in less than 3 weeks. And Leftwich is going to have a career year!!!

Make that trade. Leftwich will be better this year and has solid offensive talent around him. Collins has one foot out the door and Brandon Jacobs will not post those first week numbers every week.

I would take it, Leftwich is poised for a good season, and Leinart might not even get in this year. I'd offer Williams for the trade.

I'd stick with what you have, but if you must I would give up Drew or Williams, with Drew being the 1st to give up because Williams may be starting soon because the Panther's starting rb, Foster is injury prone.

Do it since Collins is a big ? every week and Lefco is a quality QB.
