Generally it's a class B Misdemeanor punishable by a fine less than $2000, a jail term of less than 180 days, or some combination of both. If you had a weapon, it's a class A Misdemeanor with a maximum punishment of a $4000 fine, less than 1 year in the county jail, or a combination of both.

Generally not to bad. A cash fine is usually imposed, about $50 if not to serious. Nothing damaged, nothing taken. Court costs is like $15 plus the fine.

Given this is the ONLY charge and no history of repeating the charge and no probation/parole violation it is fairly simple.

Ah in Texas isn't the punishment death by hanging? Most states it is a petty offense...punished with a fine unless there were other crimes like theft or destruction of property.

<>It would depend on whether it was a misdemeanor or felony charge. Your best bet would be to ask a Texas lawyer.
