What color swatch should I use?

I tried to make my own business cards using photoshop CS2 in Pantone colors (and cmyk mode) , and when I received them, the background (which was supposed to be blue), was waaay darker. So I have to do them again.
My question is: should I just make that blue a little bit lighter and keep it in Pantone, or should I change the swatch to Trumatch or any other?

White background is always better......then u can use any dark colors in the front like blue, red and black.

color tone watch face dimantle it n paint it with nail polish of your choice of colours..... its not that hard
