Here's a financial sneak preview of life in LA.

The monthly cost of apartment rental is $1,000. As you said, you want to travel with the baby, then someone has to stay behind to babysit. Otherwise, you need to hire a babysitter. $1,500 a month would just be reasonable.

It is extremely important that you acquire health insurance. That may sound like a fee of $500 a month.

From this scenario alone, you are obliged to raise $2,000 a month. That's $1,000 per payday. If your web designer husband luckily lands into a job, then his income should not be lower than $2,000 a month to afford transportation and food cost, clothing, power, water, and gas.

So if you really want to work in LA, just be assured first that there's a job waiting for you there that can eventually provide both of you a monthly take home pay of at least $4,000.

Take note that as newcomers in US, you are not yet entitiled to welfare assistance and credit coverage for a certain period until your residency is established. No one hires people without Social Security card.

For an entry level position, the rate offered is between $8 to $12 per hour.

LA City is overpopulated already.

I hope this information helps and I hope people will agree that Iam not exagerrating my figures.

And what type of job do you think you're interested in working in?

You can not just arbitrarily say you want to work in L.A. and not post what qualifications you have. You expressed interest yet you gave your husband's job. So, what are you? His assistant?

Working here in the U.S. (Los Angeles, California) - if this is what you mean, takes a lot of qualification requirements - i.e., have the ability to properly express themselves both written and verbal communication.

Not that I'm discouraging you. I want you to re-post your "question" again - at least, in a way that may attract potential employers.
