I don't know how he'll stand up to the great american poets. However, he's up there and is definitely the greatest living songwriter.

Its hard to say anyone is the best at anything- based on personal preferance. However, i consider Dylan to be a very strong poet with a vast aray of creativity, but i dont think he is the best. I would consider Bradley Nowell of sublime to be the most creative genius of all time.

not in a million years. in fact he is most most overrated artiste of all time. I suspect his 'artificial' popularity is due primarily to the play up support of the influential Jews lobbyists in the state.
