You guys are all retarded. Alikazmi96 please just kill yourself, the world would be a better place without you. If you don't have anything remotely intelligent to say then feel free to shut the **** up.
If team A, in attempting a conversion, commits a safety, then team B is awarded a single point. Since it would require team A to essentially run the ball backwards the entire length of the field, it's unlikely to ever happen during competitive play.

The following indicate "no way". Only single point listed is a conversion. They don't address forfeits but with the big dollars involved I doubt you would see one of those even if the team had to draft cheerleaders. High Schools make too many dollars to allow forfeits, I can't imagine a college forfeiting a game.

The minimum of points you could score in a football game would be two(scoring a safety) so no, it wouldn't be possible to score only one point.

Only in Canada... I remember when we had a CFL team before the Ravens came to town, and teams were awarded a point for kicking the ball to the back of the endzone.

only way a team can score 1 point is after a touchdown(PAT). Other than that, the lowest denomination is 2pts either by a safety, 2pt conversion(after touchdown) or defense return for touchdown by way of attempted pat or 2pt conversion by the offense.

The victorious team got two touchdowns. The team with the one reached 3rd and goal and opted to punt for a field goal instead of trying to run the ball due to time, strategy, etc. I don't really watch football and I believe this is accurate. If you and your dad were discussing this, why not ask him to clarify?
