The Montreal shootings at the college downtown?

So many people have been traumatized by what happened yesterday when a young man shot at students all over the place and killed at least one young lady; Anastasia D'souza, and injured about 20 others, some of whom are in critical conditon in hospitals. How can a man with three riffles and a lot of ammunition ( more in his car apparently ) can carry something like that and do this by himself ? Do you think there was someone else involved?
It is too soon to speculate on that and we all must not get paranoîa about this. There was so much said that it is all confusing. Live on tv too. My heart goes to the victims and their families and friends, also to those who witnessed such a horrible massacre.
I believe all of the violence in movies and video games does have something to do with how a disturbed person comes to accomplish such bloody terror. It is also too easy to get guns and riffles. Something is very wrong with society and it's not getting any better.

Sue the manufacturers ~they had no right to make such a game.
Make it more difficult to buy guns ( how did he get hold of such an arsenal of weapons ? )
Charge people such an astronomical amount to buy the games , most people would give up.
Require 2 pieces of I.D to buy such a game, and keep a record of who bought the games.
Parents ..Parent your children better.....dont buy them the latest game just because they whine for it....does no one say NO to their kids anymore?
Finally, when your kid is on the computor, have it in an open area so everyone can see whats going on.
Parents should be more vigilent in their kids upbringing , with what they are watching.....and stop letting Video games babysit your kids...dont let them have computors in their bedrooms.
Be more aware of your kids and what they are doing.

The shooter grew to become into not a scholar on the college. A steel detector for this reason would not have helped lots. once you're a homicidal maniac keen to shoot indiscriminately, the 1st person you may shoot may be the guy status next to the steel detector, top?

First let's knock of the conspiracy crap. He acted alone. Most people who do this crap have more than one weapon with them.

Second let's get over the traumatized scenario. The parents and families of those that were killed are in shock, the ones who didn't get hit are lucky, they don't have any reason to be traumatized. Next we can send in teams of sociologists to really screw people up.

i live in Toronto. so it's all over the news. it's so sad. so many lives affected by this troubled individual. and he's not even around to suffer the consequences for his actions. my heart goes out to the families who have a long road of recovery ahead of them. many lives changes by one troubled man.
