click on the main page of messenger or the yahoo ID of the person you wanna send SMS then go to /Actions/Send an SMS Message/ then type the number of the cell phone
It should be something like +118001234567 (no space) in which 1 is the area code of America, the rest is the phone number.
But it just offers very limited providers and also not available in all countries. Check with your local yahoo.

donwload the new version of the yahoo messenger its called yahoo with voice messenger after you successfully download the new version add all you freinds in yahoo and their cellphone numbers then click on their name once and a side bar pops up that will allow you to choose either to send im on line or mobile im or send them an e-mail
