dilantin dosage for seizures?

I am just curious as to what the average "start out" dosage for dilantin is.

It depends on the severity of the seizures and the patient's medical condition. Ask your doctor.

For an adult, they usually load them with big doses of dilantin IV and when they are theraputic, they start on 100 mg 3 times daily and adjust the doses according to their next dilantin level.

ask your Dr. or Pharmacist, don't fool around I once gave to much or not enough to a girl that was in my care and she had a seizure, I was so scared.
