it's lying in a ditch on the interstate with its face in the airbag & smashed glass everywhere.

Your screen will freeze up. Programs take a really long time to load. You get a BSOD(blue screen of death). It will crash to desktop while you are using a program. There are many different types of crashes as you can see...
