At the store we bought it from they said they would work right away with the bluetooth thing in it but I still can't get on the internet. Also someone told me about getting windows system and running it on the mac, How can i do that? Do i have to buy that software?

Hi there...the Macbooks come with a Airport wireless card ...to connect to Comcast. Bluetooth is used for other wireless devices.

Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is Comcast. They can walk you through the setup if the following steps don't work.

Got to the System Prefs (from Blue Apple in the upper left hand corner)-->select the Network panel -->1st popup window select Automatic...2nd popup window select Network Status ...click "Configure" button at bottom-->Click the TCP/IP tab...next to Configure IPv4 choose: Using DHCP-->when finished click the button "Apply Now". Should automatically connect if your router is correctly set up.

The Macbook will work at hotels with Wi-Fi, but you need to get the password from them if they use one.

Most of the Apple Stores have assistants at their "Genius Bar" who more than willing to show you how to configure the wireless setup with your Macbook as well. The service is complimentary for the first 90 days after purchase.

To use Windows you have to install Boot Camp http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ and then purchase a copy of Windows XP2.

you don't connect to the internet with bluetooth, you use the wifi card. you also have to get your own internet service, and you must buy your own wireless router, you can't steal it from your neighbors! talk to comcast about setting up YOUR wireless internet, stealing it from your neighbors could get you in some serious legal trouble!

yes, it will work in hotel rooms (if they have wireless internet at the hotel) no you don't have to buy any software.

you don't need Windows XP. You have Mac OSX, its better than XP anyway.

You probably should look into a book on beginning computers, something like a Mac for Dummies book would be a good place to start.

The program that can do dual Windows and Mac OS is called "Bootcamp."
As for your wireless problem, it shouldn't be from the Bluetooth, it should be from your Wi-Fi. Maybe your WiFi is turned off?
