Ban Violent Video Games
After yesterdays shootings in Montreal The video games manufacturers should give compensation to the victims who got hurt, and compensation to the families who lost their loved ones through these murders.
He was obsessed with the Video Game "Columbine" which is a replica interactive game of the columbine massacres .
First off where do The games manufacturers get off on making a game about a painful event in so many peoples lives ? I f I was a family member of the columbine familes I would Sue the Butt off the games manufacturers that made that game .
What .Cruel Heartless Bas*ards they are and HOW DARE THEY?
Second of all I would hit them where it hurt most in the pocket book.
Heres what I would do ~ charge $1000 per game
Record The ID of the person that bought the game and keep it on record.
Dont even start with the freedom of speech thing, those people who have died no longer have the freedom to speak.
The manufacturers should be held accountable.

its not the video games this idiot would have done it anyway but without the game he would have done sooner cause everything i read about video games causeing people to comit acts of violence usally fines that the video games actually feed a person need to be violent by acting it out on in a video game but eventually these crazy *** people are going hurt some people is not real enough for them so only thing left for them to is go out and actually do what they been wanting to kill hurt and destory as many people as they can is the only way they can release these feelings they have. Also i dont think the game creators should have to pay and i dont think i should have to pay so much for games. hell i play violent blood filled shooting and killing style games all the time and havent killed hurt or even attempted such and act yet.

First - NO decent, reputable game manufacturer would ever make a game based on a real life event like Columbine. I have a strong feeling this was a homemade (ie not a major label) piece of software. I just looked into it, and I'm right - some idiot made it on his computer. It's a cartoony, 2D piece of junk, not a "realistic replica" of that day. He asked for donations, but essentially it was a free online game. So, perhaps you should have Googled it before you started your tirade against videogames.
Second - I have been a gamer since 1982, and I'm 34 years old now. I love games like Grand Theft Auto - but I have never stolen a car, or beat up a hooker, in real life. I love Metal Gear Solid - but I've never sneaked up behind someone and snapped their neck in real life. It's apparent to me, and every other adult gamer, that this and any other kid who do things like this are disturbed to begin with. There are ratings on games you buy in a store, and if the store doesn't make sure mature rated games don't get into the hands of minors, they can be prosecuted. )Not like they won't get them somewhere else..) It's different online. Open access, no regulation. I understand where you're coming from, but don't jump to blame games, because millions of us play, and we never hurt anyone. Look at the mental state of these kids who kill, and you'll find they all have problems. Games desensitize them, I agree. But games are only a small part of a larger picture.

Take some personal responsibility. Everyone wants to sue because they're to lazy to think for themselves and raise their children. I'm sure you will now sue me for this answer. Maybe we can ban freedom all together :)
