Asking on behalf of someone who doesn't have health insurance, doesn't have patience to wait in a waiting room, and works in construction. Overall healthy.

It's not necessary, just a good idea. You could probably find a free clinic in the area that takes appointments.

working in construction i would think it's very important to have one. better safe than sorry.

you are in a job where you are likely to get cuts and such so i would pay the price and get the shot.
